Upon completion of the course, students are expected to:

Have acquired sufficient knowledge and skills to critically engage with the key causal factors of social change at the EU level.
Be familiar with engaging in dialogue using critical approaches regarding key areas of social policy.
Be able to retrieve, evaluate, and interpret data from various sources in order to analyze social policy issues from a comparative perspective within the EU.
Be capable of synthesizing interpretations and viewpoints, and of developing systematic, critically-oriented arguments supported by adequate empirical evidence.
Be able to produce written work that meets the standards of academic writing (in terms of structure, analysis, documentation, as well as the presentation of empirical data and bibliographic references).
