Stefanos Papanastasiou is Assistant Professor at the Department of Social Policy of Democritus University of Thrace. He holds a PhD and an MSc in social policy analysis (I.e.income inequality, poverty risk, material deprivation, social mobility, social protection, etc.). He is experienced in microdata analysis (i.e. EU-SILC, LFS, HBS) and in metadata management (i.e. DDI3). His research interests and publications are concerned with applied and comparative social policy analysis, as well as with the development of databases and research infrastructure. He has participated and coordinated research projects in these fields.
