Students are expected to:
• practice producing and understanding written and spoken language mainly for academic purposes.
• be able to shift between two different linguistic, cultural and scientific systems with ease and comfort – ie. from English to Greek and vice versa, when required (eg in Erasmus+ programmes, Erasmus Placement and International Conferences).
• develop skills in order to be able to study international literature related to Linguistics, attend conferences and pursue postgraduate studies.
Academic Skills:
1. Search, analysis and synthesis of data and information, using ICT, such as online dictionaries
2. Writing a short scientific paper / abstract relating to the field of Social Policy
3. Working as a member of a team in order to produce a short paper/ abstract relating to the field of Social Policy
